My wife Karen and I contracted with Ray to build our home on our family farm in the spring of 2009. We knew what we wanted to build in terms of size and design and were excited to find a builder eager to construct our home in the country.

We were looking forward to our new home but we were not looking forward to the process of building it. The amount of decisions that need to be made through a home construction process just didn’t excite Karen and I at all. Then there is the time it can take, sometimes up to a year to build a home. These issues were quickly put to rest when we visited with Ray about possibly building our home.

Knowing how we didn’t want to be a part of all the minute details of the construction process, Ray set down with us and got an idea as far as colors, woods, stains and materials. We were able to set a price range as far as what materials would go into our home and from there he took it and ran with it. From the time Ray began our footings to the day we moved in took just under 75 days, not a year. Our home came in slightly under our budget, and we were able to get the most efficient appliances including a geo-thermal heat pump.

We are so happy with our new home from Eschaton. From its appearance to its functionality, it’s everything we dreamed of and we are so enjoying raising our kids in our new home in the country.
